- Coordinating all food budgeting, purchasing, and planning operations with other members of the staff
- Monitoring and overseeing sanitation practices to ensure that employees strictly adhere to the standards and regulations of cleanliness
Requirements to apply for Head Chef position in Canada:
- Minimum education secondary school completion
- Experience in commercial food preparation
- Experience in a supervisory capacity and as a sous-chef or specialist chef
- Must have Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 5
- Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage a fast-paced kitchen environment.
