Despite the current efforts of extending the Travel restrictions, Immigration still plays a key role in growing Canada’s future

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) made an announcement of extending the travel restrictions until August 31 2020. To stop the spread of Corona virus Canadian government remains committed in protecting the health and safety of Canadians and have imposed travel restrictions which includes optional and is discretionary in nature. Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) however, has exempted travel restrictions if you fall under below category.

 

You can travel and enter Canada if you’re a:

  • Canadian Citizen
  • Permanent Resident
  • Recently approved Permanent Residents
  • Temporary foreign workers (Exceptional list)
  • International students
  • Immediate family member of Canadian Citizens and permanent residents.

Despite the ongoing Crisis caused by the Coronavirus, Canada ranks ahead of US in the world’s most competitive economies.
