A total of 30,989 candidates have received ITA (Invitation to Apply) for Canadian Permanent Residency since January 2020. The Express Entry draw #145 held on 29 April 2020 was significant because 589 Express Entry candidates who received provincial nominations have received ITA for Canada Permanent Resident. The Minimum CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) cut-off scores were 692, which is down by 116 points since the last PNP draw.

Despite the Coronavirus measures, the Canada government held several draws and issued ITA’s for candidates from PNP and Canadian Experience Class. Express Entry candidates nominated by province or territory receive an additional 600 points; this gives them a point’s advantage over other candidates.
